^ I am going to disagree with that, and think that there will be lots of cities ready to offer amazon the chance to set up shop in their city for free.
I just think if you owned a company, and were going to set up a second office, why would you set it up mere hours away from your real head office, and why would you not set it up in a country where the vast majority of your revenue is generated and out of the time zone where the vast majority of your customers are?
to me it would make sense for a city making a pitch for this office to somehow set up a special queue at the airport for amazon employees so they can bypass the typical wait times the rest of us have and work with an airline to be able to quickly adjust capacity/available aircraft.
to me it would be stunning to see a canadian city even make the top three finalists.
