Not a pretty win but that was a nailbiting win by the Stamps 25-22.

Bo Levi Mitchell did not have a good game early but he made it happen when the game is on the line. Overall, it was just an exciting win especially against the Edmonton Eskimos. It is something that I always enjoy all the time, Stampeders beating the Eskimos or the Riders. I don't really care if the win is pretty or not.

I thought DT Micah Johnson, DB Tunde Adeleke and R Juwan Brescacin had a great game. Adeleke responded to the challenge very well when Stamps DB started going down one at the time. First, he took Tommi Campbell's spot when Campbell went down and he did well against Bowman and Walker. Then Campbell came back but Jamar Wall left the game and again Adeleke responded very well. Even Adam Thibault responded when he replaced Ciante Evans.
Micah Johnson was a force also and Juwan Brescacin responded very well replacing the injured receiver Davaris Daniels.

Anyways, Mitchell throwing was off. He threw a couple of INTs on a double coverage. He had to rely on McDaniel too much and Eskimos D knew it. Messam didn't really have a lot of touch but whenever he does he gets stop early except for one play where he racked up 16 yards I believe. Rene Paredes was just awful especially on the convert missing 2 that almost cost us the game.

Defense were decimated by injuries tonight especially on secondary but they did hang on. It wasn't their best game though. When they gave up that late TD by the Eskimos and the Eskies were celebrating way too much with bunch of them hugging the goalpost, I thought I hope that early celebrations blow up in their faces. Then the slashing gesture indicating game is over wasa classic blow up on ther faces too. There is a reason the Stampeders is #1 in the CFL and there is a reason Bo Levi Mitchell is the best QB and Dickenson one of the smartest HC in the CFL. They always respond to adeversity always.
