I just read the article by the new Flames writer. I thought it was really good.
Basically if you are only looking to read articles about your team that are more or less "Go Flames Go!" Athletic is not for you. They tell you the good and the bad but they go into detail and at least try to back up what they are saying with numbers.
Personally I hate the type of writers who just write opinion pieces (in Toronto Simmons and DiManno). That type of stuff can be found online for free on messageboards.
