I dunno about "more hypocritical", but I can think of plenty that are equally hypocritical: politicians, governments, organized non-religion, basically, any organized group on earth.
And, most certantly, Elton John. He is preaching discrimination against religion to argue against descrimination against gays. That is the very height of hypocricy, not to mention an incredible show of arrogance.
