I think it's almost a guarantee that Foo starts in the AHL. Management have indicated as such. I would rank Jankowski as a better prospect than Foo and Jankowski played a full season in the AHL prior to now getting his shot at the NHL roster.
It's just wishful thinking that Foo can make the NHL roster from opening night. I suggest people not to set themselves for that line of thinking, because the chance of that happening is minimal.
