I think the kid is a good second line center that's strong away from the puck, but I don't think he's got great offensive production. If they want to sign him to a long term deal, his agent is looking for Mony money or more to get that done. The Canucks are smart if they've done a bridge deal at second line center money and see if he becomes a top center or if they have to spend money to get him.
