It's a problem Flames fans are way too familiar with. Every summer, the Flames would talk about trying to reduce Kipper's workload, but never could because the backups wouldn't be able to consistently win and the playoff hunt was always too close to risk losing games that needed to be won.
Is this something the Oilers have even identified as an issue, or are they just relying on the fact that they won the Cup one time when Fuhr played 75 games, so everything will just work out fine?

Quick won the Cup in 2014 after playing 69 regular season games.
Therefore, Talbot only has to decrease his workload by 4 games to be fresh for the playoffs.
Should be doable.
