To me the debate about youth and Jagr is somewhat moot given the fact that the Flames were in on Sharp, but lost out to Chicago.
They clearly see a need to upgrade the top nine or they would have been sidelined.
The big question about all this Jagr smoke is a) does he want to play in Calgary? b) is he asking for too much money? c) is he asking for two years? d) is Treliving worried that Calgary will be the team that finally sees the wheels come off
But I don't see the thought of leaving space for the kids or they wouldn't have been in on Sharp.
