I've been through too many of these over the years to get my gitch in a knot, it will get done.
My GUT says the Jagr rumours have come from the fact that the two sides (Bennett/Flames) are getting their goal posts tighter on an option or two, to the point where Treliving has a better idea of how much cap space he has left.
It's prudent to go slow from both sides and wait each other out, but Treliving's history certainly dictates he won't blink.
