It certainly appears as though Flames management is interested in acquiring a veteran RW presence*. And assuming they've determined that Jagr is best placed to help the squad...it begs the question - why not Iggy?
The history and legacy involved with Iggy would cause a hangover of sorts. There are few examples in sports where one of the greatest in a particular franchise's history returns to a team where they crafted their legacy and doesn't make a hash of that legacy. And really, the downside for both parties is significant.
So Jagr it is. Let's hope he lives up to his own legacy which - even if diminished given his current skill set due to age - is still intact.
*basing this off of the reaction of both camps (e.g. unwillingness to shoot down rumours completely).
