I don't believe this would be viewed as scoring cheap points, why do you? I don't think there's anything cheap about having a real conversation with a significant figure in the community when invited to. I do not understand KD Langs role in the community so you do make a fair point there
I still stand by my position that a last minute invite puts Kenny in a no win situation and he shouldn't be expected to drop his current plans. The real issue is that he hasn't consulted with anyone not that he didn't respond to a Mike Morrison joke that became a real offer.
