I played the orginal EQ (or Evercrack as a few called it ) a few years ago, but couldn't justify the monthly fee, especially knowing that I would have to devote a lot of time to play to get where I wanted to be, or at least get to a point that was respectable. Basically to be able to play with all the nerds online that do little else leaves you with little time for real life. It's a shame cause I really like those games, and would probably love WoW, but there's no point when others spend 4-10 times more time on than you.

Dear god, lvl 60? Yeah, like I have time for that.

I think the highest I got in EQ was lvl 13. Did it fairly quickly, but didn't have the time to continue the curve as the levels increase.
