Bennett suffered from Brouwer being a possession black hole last year. With Jagr it would likely help him be a possession beast and the team would have the puck in the offensive zone more often and give Bennett more scoring opportunities.

Think I read that Bennett was 4th on the team in zone entries last season behind Gaudreau, Backlund and Brodie.
If that's the case then Jagr speed doesn't hurt him as much as he has a drive wide option coming behind him.
On the cycle Bennett would do well with a guy that can hold things up until an option opens (Jagr's bread and butter)
The reason Jagr works the most for me is the fact that Calgary has a zone entry guy on each of the top three lines.
