I'm not quite sure if the playoffs are possible as the 'Canes 3rd and 4th line are a poor AHL team but if the 'Canes were guilty of doing the wrong thing over and over it can clearly be stated that we've changed our teams approach this offseason.
I've never been able to blow up my teams like the great GM's in this league but this offseason I have quietly gone about doing just that. Sam Reinhart is the only returning forward from last season and on D Karlsson, Ellis and Schenn return as well. Our goaltending tandem from last year both cleared waivers and no longer in Carolina.
I've reshaped this team and I can definitely say I've given my best effort to go the route of... if what I was doing wasn't working then try something else
