- Very clean city. Workers actually pick up trash and there are garbage bins everywhere. Some of the ''cool'' cities in Europe are filthy compared to here

- Most electronic terminals (ticket dispensers, ATM, etc) actually work. It's not uncommon in a lot of places to see a lot of public electronic terminals not working at all and suddenly your screwed
- Public services that for the most part are staffed adequately and know what they are doing
It's tricky to make a list of things Calgary does ''right''. Of course we aren't perfect and some cities do things better then we do. However when you travel a lot to other countries, its the tiny things that add up and make a difference to the quality of life we have here that other places don't have. Little nuances that other places have, that we just don't have to worry about here.
