Well, that was a whole hell of a lot better.
The Sansa & Arya reunion was better, though still a bit underwhelming. However, Arya vs. Brienne was pure gold.
Bran gave a solid explanation as to his woodenness. And for those who didn't get the exchange with him and Littlefinger... L: "To go through that and make your way home again only to find such chaos in the world... I can only imagine..." B: "Chaos is a ladder." That's a common saying of Littlefinger, himself, showing that Bran's been looking in on Littlefinger.
Somewhat NSFW.
I loved, "Yes, I've seen you staring at her heart." And good to see Jon and Dany still remaining true to their characters.
And that battle... Wow! From the hoof beats preceding the appearance of any Dothraki, to the wave of them breaking over the hill, the appearance of a dragon in battle for the first time in Westeros in generations, with copious amounts of men on fire... The whole thing was both chaotic and coherent, with lots of good stuff from Bronn & Jamie, and a good build up to the wounding of Drogon.
Doesn't completely excuse the laskluster last two episodes, but renews my excitement for the next three.
