I wish Brouwer wasn't a Calgary Flame, but I do concede that one poor season doesn't necessarily mean a trend.
Lots of great players have down years in-between great seasons. Brouwer joined a new team, who also had a new coach, who implemented a vastly different system that the entire team seemed to have problems adopting, and also had a figure injury which MAY have contributed to a lack of scoring.
Two bad seasons? I will join the mob in throwing him off the bridge. At this point in time, I just think that you expect Brouwer to at least approach his career averages and write-off this past season as just 'a tough season' for him.
