Default Israel does it again

Nineteen dead as artillery shell hits wrong target.

But they're really sorry about it! Some were anyway. Others celebrated.

Quote:
Jewish extremists meeting in Jerusalem to mark the 16th anniversary of the death of radical ring-wing Rabbi Meir Kahane praised the Gaza killings, describing the strike as the work of "the holy cannon."
And wouldn't you know it, it was a faulty computer card that caused the killings.

And here I thought it was indiscriminantly shelling a town using the most inaccurate weapon they could have chosen.

One former Israeli weapson experts seems to agree.

Quote:
One of the main architects of the Israeli weapons industry last night called on his government to end the tactic of artillery bombardment of the Gaza Strip after a volley of errant shells rained on civilian homes, killing 19 Palestinians.Arms expert Bonen Zeev called the weapons system "too inaccurate to expect no civilian casualties."

Is anyone surprised that the US will likely veto any UN probe into this 'accident'?
