Some would say Stajan and Lazar have the skill to be playing 3rd line on teams with thinner forward ranks. Therefore having them on our 4th line gives us a higher potential 4th line. Hathaway meanwhile has shown some scoring touch in the minors. Im a huge fan of his but think he's a prototypical 4th line grinder. I don't expect a lot of scoring out of him but you may get more than just some random 4th line plug that we've had in years past. Overall I'd say Stajan-Lazar-Hathaway would definitely be an above average 4th line league wide. Therefore they help with depth scoring.
