I didn't want to derail bc-chris's thread with this, but I wanted to share a rather personal set of photos from earlier this year.
It's been five weeks since my wife's father died after being diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in March of this year. It was very fast acting, and turned 3 months of our lives into a blur of constant hospital visits, while trying to make the most of what time we had left.
During this time I found some (very minor) solace in
documenting this experience from my point of view.
Rather than repost all the photos captions here, I've assembled
an album on flickr.
Spoiler for content/triggers.
