So if a cord becomes damaged, and it can burn down a house, that's reasonable to you? Especially considering millions of kids use iPods and iPhones that have the same charger?

A cord shouldn't be made so cheaply in the first place to have this problem. Apple cords fraying is notorious, but I didn't think it would lead to it becoming scorching hot.
