“I can only speak about our team, not anybody else’s,” Tkachuk said. “In that regard, how could you not be pumped? I don’t think there was a busier general manager this off-season than Brad Treliving."

“You can’t help but get caught up in the Battle of Alberta,” Tkachuk said. “We played them in the first game last season and I think it’s the same thing this upcoming season.

“We just need to get off to a better start to the season than we did a year ago.”
