I used to work with a lady who sleep walked like crazy. It was so bad, that when she would travel, she would actually have to put a room key card in her pocket and a note in case the police found her. A couple times she wandered outside her room and got locked out.
And seconded on the CO detector. Make sure yours is functional. If you've never had this issue before and suddenly this happens, it can't hurt to double check yours are functioning properly.
