its not guaranteed he makes the NHL to start the year but you have presented a flawed analysis of how ready he could be or not.

You seem to believe he will make it and I'm just saying that he may need more time. You saying lots of college players make the jump directly really doesn't have a bearing on if Jankowski is ready. Poirier excelled in his first AHL season and it didn't translate to the NHL. Center is a more demanding position as well. I don't see why your analysis is any more sound than mine as neither of us has a crystal ball.
