Mulling over it, we need to sign someone not named Iginla or Chiasson. Whoever we sign has to be someone who we are willing to waive if they are outplayed by Foo, Janko, Poirier etc. Chiasson has Gulutzan's friend card and will pick up right where he left off - not even scratched even when he was awful. And I do not want to be the organization that had to make a tough decision on Iggy. I tuink he is better than Brouwer but one guy has 4.5x3 on his contract so he is not getting waived no matter how atrocious or outplayed he is.
Stafford/Parenteau make more sense as the Setoguchi type sacrificial lambs.
