I agree with all of that with the exception that I think there's room for both players. I think Stajan and Jankowski could play centre and wing on the fourth line, and eventually Stajan might end up moving to wing on either the fourth or another line.

Offensive prospects often break in on the fourth line, especially on a deep team. Theo Fleury did IIRC.
