I think the Flames have the defense to get the job done and we could use a veteran presence for the young guys. A nice run would provide a good situation for Iggy to retire within the organization.
If the team goes on a Cinderella run the whole city might catch the wave and suddenly you have the "we believe"; That would be a lot of fun even if we came up short!
Would Iggy rise to the occasion? I am guessing the old guy would be inspired and hungry to do it now with this group. Anyone who slashes Johnny would be helmetless, pounded into submission. Johnny would start to play like the guy we all remember. Potential is there for lots of feel good stories. I would even go as far as to say a lot of teams and players would be rooting for Iggy!
I am fine with either Jagr or Iggy if the price and term are a fit. I am thinking the shoe probably fits Iggy a little better but Jagr would be fine!
