Hypothetical situation:
It's 2050. Eugenics has advanced to the point where we can screen and remove mental and physical disabilities like down syndrome, Spina bifida, even correct mental ######ation.

First, to those saying how trans-phobic (lol) I'm being, would you view this use of eugenics as wrong? Would it be more morally correct to allow children to be born with serious illness and handicaps? Is the word itself eugenics just too fraught with historical malpractice?

So if you (hopefully) agree that it's ok to do that, let's then continue down that path a bit. Let's say that the Doctor tells you that your baby will be born male, but, they can detect in the brain that your child will identify as a female. They can change it. I won't even use the word "correct" as not to make anyone faint. Do you think it would be ok for parents to have that choice?
