What? No, that's not true. He definitely is slow now. He makes up for it with positioning and hockey sense, but he's only effective on a team that runs a deep cycle game. I respectfully disagree. I admittedly only watched ~7 Panthers games, but I thought he looked great, speed wise. He may not be able to play 80 games, which may be a problem for some teams, but his speed to me was a total non-issue.
