Some scouting reports
Tyler Busch - https://www.landgrantholyland.com/20...le-tyler-busch
Quote:
|
Playing Style: While he was playing for the Lloydminster Bobcats Midget AAA team of the AMHL, Busch played the role of pest and playmaker simultaneously. In his last season in Lloydminster, Busch had 16 assists in 33 games while also racking up 74 penalty minutes. The 16 assists were a decent number as he's still developing. He's skinny now at 174 lbs., a year after that magical PIM fueled year.

Samuel Dove-McFalls - http://bsndenver.com/nhl-draft-prosp...outing-report/

Dove-McFalls is not a flashy player, but he is reliable and has good hockey sense. He doesn’t make many egregious errors and has the ability to generate turnovers, odd-man rushes, and breakaways due to his vision and patience. Although he’s been playing wing for Saint John, he takes most face offs when he’s on the ice, and he’s excellent at them. He often wins them cleanly to give his team the chance to set up in the offensive zone or transition from defense. He works hard, takes hits, and passes well. Dove-McFalls is a staple on the Sea Dogs’s penalty kill.

Glenn Gawdin - http://www.dobberprospects.com/glenn-gawdin/
Quote:
|
January 2016 – The versatile and hard-working centerman is playing in the WHL for the Current Swift Broncos. He was drafted last summer in the fourth round, but his biggest value to the Blues appears to be his balanced game, which may not translate to significant fantasy value. The offensive skill is there, but some speculate the Blues will try to develop his defensive play rather than creating a scoring weapon. Gawdin has a good shot with a quick release, and has shown the ability to create scoring chances with a savvy pass.

Sebastian Vidmar - http://lastwordonhockey.com/2017/03/...agents-part-4/
Quote:
|
Vecchione’s Swedish linemate put up 14 goals and 38 points in 31 games with the Dutchmen. Vidmar is a playmaker off the wing. He is very poised with the puck and has good stickhandling ability. He sees the ice well, and seems to have the ability to slow the play down and make passes to his teammates. His skating was never his strong suit, but Vidmar has really improved this season, to the point where it is now above average. He works well with the give and go, finding open ice to take the puck back from a teammate and fire a one-timer into the back of the net.

Ben Hawerchuk - http://puckprose.com/2016/03/06/barr...hl-bloodlines/
Quote:
At 5’10 157lbs, Ben still needs to add some more weight, and strength to his undersized frame. A product of the GTHL (Toronto Titans AAA), he joined Barrie in 2014-15, appearing in 59 games, posting nine points playing limited ice-time.
His point totals and ice-time have increased in 2015-16, but he’s certainly not getting that coach/son favoritism you often find immersed in hockey politics.

Brad Morrison - http://thehockeywriters.com/ny-rangers-prospects-2017/
Quote:
|
Scouts describe him “as a forward who plays with a jump in his step with speed and skill.” Brad also will stick up for his teammates and is willing to drop the gloves. It is something the Rangers will need going forward. Overall, Morrison had a down year and will be looking to bounce-back next year. It will take time before he makes the NHL.
