Is Draistl eligible to get offer sheeted this year or next year?
i'd be interested to see how that plays out... is Leon happy to play second fiddle to McDavid at 8 million (which is what the rumors are for the Oilers offer)?
Seems like he be smart to see what he can get on the open market...
I'm a little surprised if McDavid's agent sold him on 8 years though... seems like the smart play would have been to do a 7 year contract so he can claw back a UFA year...
