I can't believe that Kris Russell was *this* close to not having an NHL job, and now the Oilers have locked him up for 4 years.

re: McJesus- he should go for every cent he can. When the Flames were a one man show with Iginla, did he ever take a huge discount? He was a top paid player. $7 Mil was HUGe money! Don't think Edmonton fans had any sympathy for the Flames then, nor do I have sympathy for them now.
