If he is the kind of person that is a winner that wants more than anything to win a Cup and play with other great NHL stars in a program that could be great for the next 10 years, then the Oilers are the best up and coming choice. Like the Pens or Blackhawks, think of signing on those teams 8 or 9 years ago?? Sustained success on the back of two star forwards. If he's a winner, he'll sign with the Oilers.

Brodie/Hamonic
Pretty solid top 4 imo, don't really know much about the bottom pairing but it's not as hard to plug in the meantime. Not to mention they have Fox, Kylington and now Valimaki as strong D prospects.
As for forwards I think they are average... could use RW depth and hopefully Bennett comes around. Strong enough as a team to out-compete LA and San Jose is mostly what I'm saying, and those are the teams that lead the charge for a wildcard spot imo.
