I like LOST a lot--but in terms of quality television, it's not even in the same league as Firefly.

For one thing, as some have noted, LOST tends to advance the plot by the most maddeningly small increments, and at times feels like they're flying by the seats of their pants in terms of explaining everything. One really wonders if there's ever going to be an explanation that accounts for all of the weird stuff on the island. And yes, resolutions to plots like this are invariably a let-down.
