I always find salary propositions from Oiler fans to be hilarious.
"McDavid and Draisaitl should look at similar comparables like Toews and Kane, these are guys that took less money to win."
No...these were guys who won on their ELCs or bridge deals, thats an entirely different animal.
"Why cant the Oilers be the next Chicago or Pittsburgh?"
Well....because you pissed away important contract years through incompetence and because you failed to round out your roster with inexpensive but productive help....because of incompetence.
Anyone else seeing the trend here?
