As I said, I think there's time / money to address both needs.
Treliving said this morning they're still talking to Stone and Stone's agent said the same thing. It appears the Flames would still very much like to have him as part of the fold.
I don't see
two youngsters on the bottom pairing, and don't trust Bartowski with full time play. An experienced bottom pairing D-man adds depth in both that it has a poised player on every pairing and gives us the ability to have someone step up if there's an injury.
