Let's say the Flames do not get a MIN or NYI Defender, and they draft 16th.
What are the chances CGY makes a deal with Vegas for a Engelland with their 4th or 5th.
As it seems like McPhee is not in any way married to his roster, nor should he be.
Stat wise Engelland had 2 more points (24 games) and was a + 2 versus Hamonic at -21
So is 1m (plus 1m bonus) for 1 year worth a 4th or 5th rd CGY pick to Vegas? To CGY?
Allowing the Flames to resign Stone and play Engelland on the PK while also letting a Kulak, Andersson, Kylington and Wootherspoon to take turns in the lineup with Bartkowski.
Seems like a good back up move in theory..with 3 rounds to think about it...could it be a possibility?
Would suck for Engellends wife, but...
