I just received a message that Norton has blocked an intrusion attempt onto one of my computers. It said this: Xmap Xmas scan, risk level medium.

I know this is not a problem but I'm curious about this. What can others tell me about this? Is this a common thing? This stuff intrigues me and I want to understand more about this.
