Assets like what? Two mid-late first round picks, or picks and Sam Bennett? Because I don't believe for a second that Hamonic could command a cost-controlled young centre with a high ceiling in return.
I am starting to think the Flames just may trade for Hamonic, and the deal will likely only involve picks/prospects when all said and done. Treliving's first ever draft pick who just played his second NHL season is most likely not on the table.
