Couldn't think of where else to put this.
The South Shaganappi plan has a draft recommendation that includes stoplights at new on and off-ramps at 16 Ave N. I suspect it's similar to the above discussions about 14 St stoplights for the Grace Hospital site regarding a stop light at the bottom of a steep, south-facing slope. I don't know if this is a good idea - speeds on Shag are higher.
The change on Bowness Rd will affect me every time I drive through Montgomery (hockey and swimming for my kids are the primary reason, and Pizza 3000 is the secondary reason!) - I use the Bowness Rd East on ramp to 16 Ave and will now have to get onto 16 somewhere else, or use Memorial to 29 St to get home.
What does everyone here think?
