I'm assuming these guys are the age they were as a Flame (so we don't get prime Red Army Makarov). Though most of the players people are listing peaked as a Flame.

In this thought experiment I also wonder if a player can only be associated with one team (thinking Gilmour and Macdonald primarily here).

Forwards: Jarome Iginla, Theo Fleury, Joe Nieuwendyk, Kent Nilsson, Sergei Makarov, Joe Mullen, Hakan Loob

Defencemen: Al MacInnis, Gary Suter, Mark Giordano

Goalie: Mikka Kiprusoff

exposed: Johnny, Roberts, Reinhart, Reichel, Vernon, Lanny, Gilmour

Frankly, I suspect we'd lose either Gilmour or Johnny. Whoever this all time expansion team is, they'll have lots of goalies and defencemen. Not too many with the skill set of Gaudreau or Gilmour's intangibles.
