Sure, but Vegas isn't going to flip Marchessault to Calgary for less than Marchessault's full value. Otherwise, why not just keep him themselves?
The discount shopping was only available
prior to the draft, when teams might want to avoid losing a guy for nothing.
But now that we are at the draft, all the players are back to market value. Vegas has no incentive to flip a player for less than the value of the player.
