I'm not defending the driver. I'm just saying that from the video I can't see any evidence that the driver did it on purpose.
I'm not even sure the driver noticed that something hit him.
I looked up 26th avenue on google map and I see a bike lane icon (the bike with the two arrows above it), but I don't see any actual lane markers to delineate the bike lane. How is that supposed to work? Does it just indicate that bikes and cars share the road?
