Avs deal for Duchene makes more sense. Avs have 0 issues protecting Hamonic and IMO Duchene is better than Eberle so NYI should be all over him

The Oilers probable could protect 4 defense and 4 forwards if they traded Eberle for Hamonic unfortunately but agree with the cap space argument
Oilers would protect the following:
Lucic - F
Maroon - F
Nuge - F
Draisaitl - F
Sekera - D
Klefbom - D
Larsson - D
Hamonic - D
Exposes Letestu but he is 32 and only has 1 year left on his contract anyway so pretty sure the Oilers would much prefer that top 4 D than keeping Letestu
