i'm sure it will only be a matter of time until the twill companies start producing perforated twill to sell to guys like myself
it's unlikely that adidas would sell to a third party company. i know rbk is really anal about selling the material used for name bars. one of my customers is the licensed supplier for the kelowna rockets - so they get lots of rockets jerseys to produce for fans. they tried to get the dark royal twill name bar material (for canuck jerseys) and were refused becuz rbk said the rockets only have red, white and black jerseys, so those are the only 3 colours they would sell to them
i know when i get teams that want name bars with the actual jersey material, it's not uncommon to get in an extra one or two blank goalie cut jerseys and then just cut them to make name bars.
what i really don't like about the 'spoiler' pics is the 'kiss cut' stuff they are doing. i can do it, it's just such a pain and takes more time than the traditional way of doing things
