Not completely sold on this, but I think a reasonable (albeit expensive) hedge, in particular if we were to acquire the Block III version just approved by the US Navy.

I don't know much about the gse. Honestly the cost of enough gse to handle a fleet in two locations would not be a deal breaker for any aircraft purchase, nor would it be enough to eliminate a contender. Some gse is common and can be used on multiple aircraft, towbars, power units, etc.
Hangars shouldn't be an issue, they fit in ours, you might get one or two less in a hangar because they are a bigger.
I know lots of guys who work and fly hornets but haven't done anything more than tow one around myself. Still kick myself for not taking a ride while I was in. haha.
