I'm not completely against black when used correctly, but it seems that the Flames involvement with the Stamps has coincided with more and more black, at the expense of the red. Just so generic and 1990s looking. |
I don't think you can blame that on the Flames. The Stamps switched to black pants on the road uniforms in 2007 and added the black helmets in 2011. The Flames bought the team in 2012.
This was the 2008 Grey Cup team...
