That one year stretch from Djokovic saw him playing at a level higher than any point in Nadal's career, though still not up to 05/06 Federer. He had a bright but brief peak. I agree that they're 1-2, but Nadal is such a single surface specialist that even if he catches Federer in majors there's still no contest between them overall, in my view. Playing in literally any other era Federer would be sitting on 22ish, imo.
