Firing Mueller is one of the biggest things that could push Trump into the Nixon zone approval wise. But if the alternative is Flynn testifying before a grand jury that Trump, Trump jr, and Kushner instructed him to make deals with the Russians during the campaign then isn't firing Meuller and forcing congress to act the better of the two alternatives.
