I have a feeling that many gamers that enjoy shiny things(4k, HDR , 60fps) will go out and buy the XBONEX, while casual gamers will purchase the XBONES. I for one will be a day one adopter as it provides me with the closest graphics and performance to a PC while allowing me to still play all my games with my friends that either dont have the money or the time to put into purchasing the new console.
I think it is a solid step in removing Console "generations" and implement the console "family" they keep talking about.
Also can't wait for Xbox games in backwards compatibility! Fuzion Frenzy and Crimson Skies! cant wait! Also secretly hoping for one of my favorite games of all time to be ported Hunter: The Reckoning
